Event Staff + Photo / Video Assistant
Part-time. Tokyo minimum wage.
Creative, social, reliable.
SCHEDULE
All Events
16:00–22:30 on relevant weekdays
Chess Club
1st & 3rd Wednesday (2x/month)
Retro Gaming Club
2nd & 4th Thursday (2x/month)
Cinema Club
2nd & 4th Friday (2x/month)
Total: 6 events/month
HOURLY BREAKDOWN
16:00–17:00 Setup
Building and striking large tables
Moving chairs up/downstairs
Moving televisions (for gaming)
Setting up signage, posters, menus, etc
[Heavy equipment movement will be assisted by bar staff]
Chess / Retro Gaming
17:00–18:00 Relax / buffer time
18:00–20:00 Greet and orient guests
20:00–22:00 Play / light hosting
22:00–22:30 Clear space (bar staff can help)
Cinema
17:00–18:00 Relax / buffer time
18:00–19:30 Greet and orient guests
19:30–21:30 Watch movie
21:30–22:00 Take photos/videos (camera provided)
22:00–22:30 Clear space (bar staff can help)
RESPONSIBILITIES
1. EVENT STAFF
Set up space (tables, signs, boards, consoles)
Greet and check in guests
Create a welcoming atmosphere
Light hosting (games, conversation)
Clean up and close
2. PHOTOS (PER EVENT)
Chess: take 8–10 → deliver 5
Retro: take 5–7 → deliver 3
Cinema: take 4–5 → deliver 3
IDEAL PERSON
Friendly, proactive
Basic photo/video skills (iPhone OK)
Organized, follows systems
Interested in events, games, chess and/or cinema
PAY
Tokyo minimum wage (hourly)
Potential for more paid creative work
